Tangy, citrus, food-friendly.
Found primarily in Sardinia and Tuscany, the white Vermentino variety thrives close to the sea.
This fully kosher version is grown on slate and schist soils on the coastal Maremma region of Tuscany, less than 15km from Mediterranean and delvers notes of green almonds and fresh herbs, grilled lemons, lemon pith and smoke. It is tangy with tart white fruit, herbs and citrus flavours. Undoubtedly a lean version, best served with food such as seafood or vinaigrettes, thanks to its mouthwatering acidity.
